Rest in peace….

My dear “big” sister, may you rest in the Peace of Christ, embraced by His Unfathomable Mercy.  May the angels lead you to paradise.  +

  1. Dear Sweet Patricia, I am so terribly sorry. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. Through the mercy of God, may she rest in peace.

    • Thank you, dear Anne. I am so grateful for your prayers. In my hurry to pack for CA, I forgot the Pieta prayerbook, but I remembered that you had said you would pray those prayers for my sister. She died on a Saturday, which gives me hope that Our Lady gathered her up into Her Immaculate Heart. I know that no one is beyond the reach of the Mercy of God. My other sister and I were able to pray the chaplet at her bedside, which was a great comfort. Thank you again, and have a most Glorious and Joyous Easter! xoxo…

  2. May God grant her eternal rest. My condolences, Patricia.
Our Carmelites have been praying for her even before you heard, as we offer our prayers for those who will die in the coming week, especially those unprepared for death.
With a hug of compassion, Cindy.

  3. “I will dwell in the house of the Lord for endless days.” -Psalm 23:6

I am very sorry for your loss. May her memory be eternal, and may angels surround you and help comfort you at this time. For the repose of her soul, I will offer a Divine Mercy Chaplet at Night Prayer for the next 3 days. God be with you Pat.

  7. Patricia,

Sorry for the loss of your sister, but thankful that you have confidence in the Divine Mercy and tenderhearted love and forgiveness of our Savior Jesus Christ.

I joined with you and your friends in praying for the repose of your dear sister’s soul, as well as asking for Our Lord to comfort you and all those who love her.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4

I remember how touched Jesus was when he saw Mary in her grief and her humble love for Jesus fall on his face before him. He is touched by your grief and love, too!

    Love, Colleen

“When Mary came where Jesus was and saw him, she knelt at his feet and said to him, ‘Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.’ When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her also weeping, he was greatly disturbed in spirit and deeply moved. He said, ‘Where have you laid him?’ They said to him, ‘Lord, come and see.’ Jesus began to weep.” (John 11:32-35)
